Screen capture latency in wirecast
I stream to youtube twice a week using wirecast 14.1.1.
I use zoom on my second monitor and use the in app screen capture, fullscreen via monitor to capture the video. In zoom there is no latency and the quality is fine, in Wirecast the video has latency and lags. I have turned off gpu acceleration, there are no frames dropped and only 15% cpu usage.
I am on windows 10, ryzen cpu, msi geforce rtx graphics card, 32gb ram. I was not experiencing this with older versions of Wirecast but I am now.
Any suggestions on where to look? what could be causing the lag? Thanks.

Wirecast the video has latency and lags. Please describe "latency and lags." If the audio and video are in sync it may just be the processing time on the capture. The size of the monitor can also be a factor.

he audio is synced but the video is as if it’s in slomo. It’s kind of blurry as well.I'd need a visual example.
I'd also need more details regarding the monitor you're capturing and your Wirecast Screen Capture settings. -

In Configure, I have it as Monitor 1 and Fullscreen. What is the size of the monitor?
Can you set the monitor to 1920x1080 or 1920x1200?

I have tried using the "selected region" function but it doesn't seem to workPerhaps this is part of the issue. It should work and might indicate something about Windows and GPU interaction. There may be an issue with the version of Windows you are running.
Please confirm you are on Windows 2004 or 20H2.
