Recording doesn't show up in Catalina

Running Screenflow 8.2.4, if I try to record something on my Macbook Pro 2015 (AMD Radeon R9) - I get a green screen as a result. This is after updating to Catalina.

The audio works but the video is broken. Is this a known issue? How do I fix it?

    Catalina requires you to give permission for recording the desktop. This is how Catalina works as Apple increases security. When you first screen record you should get a request for permission just as you would to access camera and mic.
    That's enabled in Apple's System Preferences Security & Privacy Screen Recording.
