How to create template from timeline elements?
Hi Screenflow masters - I need your help with following-:
1. I have created a lower third (uploaded transparent image and then added screenflow transition to it).
2. I have also created a Sidebar which animates and come on top of my screen recording and cover left half of the screen --> here am showing some major points about my topic.
Sidebar is created with (i) Rectangle annotation (ii) Text (iii) Grouping annotation and text and then putting animation on the group.
So far above is working fine, but I don't want to keep on doing this every time i make the video.
I am looking for a way to make it some kinda template, so next time I create a video, all these elements are already there and I can simply drop in my screen capture and change the text on annotation.
How do I do that?
Thank you so much mates.
Thank you CraigS - I am not talking about applying a specific animation effect, such as transition to my lower third image, rather saving the final element (e.g lower third image with screenflow animation) as a template itself?
Here is what I have, and in this whole one, I only need to change text in every video.
thank you CraigS - This is what i did as per your suggestion-:
1. Save as a new file at my desktop.
2. Now whenever I need to create a new video, first i'll make a copy of this file --> open it --> and then hit record --> when recording stops it asks whether I want to put it in a new document or this one --> choose the copied one.
I assume this is what you meant? if yes, great, this is so helpful.
CraigS Hi Craig! New listener, First-time caller 🙂 I love this Action Templating ability... Has this gone away now in Screenflow 9? I see style presets but I'm not entirely sure how I may use that in place of Action Templates for storing a repeatable action that I can apply to other elements.
Any suggestions you can offer would be awesome.
Wade Sellers CraigS Disregard... I understand now and I love the simplification the team did.
For those who are curious too... You actually will do the +Add Action and then right after the action, select the Style Preset you want. You can actually think of the Style Preset as an Action Template in this regard here.
Slick! I love it!
