showing keystrokes odd behavior

This seems to be a problem in only one document of mine so far, but before I go in and manually add all these with text (about 100 occurrences) , thought I would see if there is something I could change. When I enable show keystrokes, when playing back the key will appear multiple times. each time I play it, or scrub through it (or render it) I get a varying number of appearances of the key, but rarely do I get a single letter (which is normal). I’m not sure why this one document is exhibiting this, so far I can’t duplicate it in any other documents.
Anyone with any ideas, much appreciated.

CraigS I need to resurrect this issue. I also see it on macOS 10.14.6 with Screenflow v9.0.2
The problem is with Screenflow and not with the original keystroke capture itself. This can be confirmed by scrubbing over the video timeline. The number of repeated letters varies from none (ie. displaying as it should) to filling the entire width of the keystroke annotation (20+ repeats) on the same instance.
It's not consistent and when outputting the video, the issue remains unstable, not allowing us to hide problem stages in the video.
I've been using Screenflow from v4 and am very familiar with this function. I had to manually allow Screenflow 9 to grab keypresses by dragging Applications ▸ ScreenFlow 9 ▸ Contents ▸ Library ▸ LoginItems ▸ ScreenFlowHelper to Preferences ▸ Security & Privacy ▸ Accessibility
It's a very big issue for us, so we'd appreciate an investigation into it.
Thanks!

Nicholas Please fill out the form and report your issues. Since many users aren't having this issue there may be a correlate involved so include complete details on hardware and what was being captured at the time (it might be specific to certain programs).
You're using the Radar effect. Some users report that turning that off is a workaround. If the problem goes away when you do that (even just for testing) please include that information as well.

Submitted the following report:
See https://youtu.be/ammhfhg68tY?t=421 for an example of where the keypresses are displayed in a repeated form.
The number of repeats appears completely random. Sometimes when scrubbing through the video, the same keystroke is normal, and when viewed again, it's repeated.
This behaviour continues on export where it's completely unpredictable what will be displayed.
After a suggestion on the telestreamforum.forumbee.com forum by CraigS, disabling the Radar click effect appears to help (following a single test).
But the bug is definitely within Screenflow and not how the keystrokes are captured.

Randy Krum Can you confirm that disabling radar fixes the issue? We need that information to confirm the correlate otherwise perhaps we need to look at other correlates as well.
Please fill the previously posted Screenflow support form. We'd send you a case number and then may be able to contact you directly to confirm the possible cause.
