What is the appropriate setting to export video for #Shorts and Reels

Good day,

I used ScreenFlow 10 for my video production. My question could be silly but significant for me. I posted the attachment above. It is a 59 seconds 9:16 video that I want to edit it so that I upload it to our YouTube channel as #Shorts.

When I finished my edit of the video using ScreenFlow and export it, I got what you can see in the Youtube video as it is shown above.

The ScreenFlow canvas setting I used when I started the project was a present of ios capture, iPhone 7 Portrait (vertical), width 1080, height  1920. When I export it, the resolution was 1920x1080.

How can I get an exported video that has the same dimensions of the input video (the attachment above)?

YouTube will generally add black bars if you don't so it will display things in a 16:9 aspect ratio.
You can export in 9:16 though.

If your Canvas is 9:16 then select 100% otherwise you can use Custom and type in the size you'd like. Note that the other smaller percentage options also retain the aspect ratio at a smaller size.
