Transitions Help

I have just upgraded from SF6 to SF10.

I am working on a project that layers still images on top of one another.

I want the images to feed in with different transition styles, like using dissolve or jaws for example. However, even though I apply the transitions to the individual still image, it affects the canvas globally and does not produce the result I want.

I can record the super short clip and upload if my explanation does not make sense!

Any help appreciated!!

Cheers, Mike.

CraigS apologies for slow reply, just been super busy. The first transition (Jaws Swipe) globally affects the project, which momentarily removes the underlying image. Please see video attached. TIA, Mike.

Mike Peat Thanks for that but we need a shot of the video playing along with the full timeline and layers. Otherwise, we can't tell how you've applied the transition and how it's interacting with the timeline.

  • Sorry for the slow reply. I have extracted the footage with the timeline. The nested clips solely have text in them. The jaws transition causes the background image to temporarily disappear. This issue affects some of the transitions, not all. Appears to be a global effect. Any help is super appreciated! Mike

      Mike Peat Thanks for that.

Can you give us the original document as we may need to examine the Nest with the transition?

CraigS I have just saved it as a ScreenFlow document. I assume this is what you refer to as an original document?

Mike Peat The document with the actual problems. The engineers need to examine the contents.

Mike Peat Did you send us the document you originally depicted? The transitions look different and I no longer see the jaws transition over the first image.
