No Rendezvous dashboard

I upgraded to version 14.1.1.  All my troubles started then.  I can not bring up the rendezvous dashboard.  The troubleshooter says load the latest .net updates.  Did that and nothing!  Without Rendezvous I can't move forward with the program...

Has anyone else experience this?  Is there a solution?

  • Are you on Windows10 2004 or 20H2?
    Try uninstalling and reinstalling.
    If you're getting an error or warning message please include that.

      I HAVE THE 20H2 update ready for install.  If that does not work I will reinstall my version of windows.

      Dwight Brewster You're welcome of course. And of course let us know how it goes. I haven't seen other reports of this issue so I suspect you may be on the right path to solve this odd issue as it might be OS level.

      Well I tried to reinstall windows, then with the update 20H2.  I rolled back to 14.0.  Nothing seems to solve my problem!  Everything else works except Rendezvous window.  Its there, it opens I just can't bring it to the front is my problem.  Can't bring anyone into the show without it...  Thoughts?

     That's odd. There are no other reports of anything like that. If you're seeing it in 14.0 as well perhaps it's not really a Wirecast problem but an issue with your OS settings.

    Try creating an entirely New User Admin account. That would give you fresh OS and Wirecast settings in that account. Reboot the computer and log into the new account and test there.

      That sounds about right...  This has never happened before...  I have one question will I lose one of my installs?

      Dwight Brewster Activation should hold for all user accounts.
      If anything happens you can get back that activation though.

      Do a change management on Windows or just reinstall wirecast as a new administrator?

      Dwight Brewster Create a completely new Administrator account so everything is fresh in that account (all account and program settings are fresh).
