A newb's editing problem
I've just started my ScreenFlow trial. Have never edited video. Had a career editing audio. I'm helping a friend with her first vlog. She did three takes of her intro (.MOV) on an iPhone and I downloaded it onto my MacBook. When I attempt to edit a segment from one take with a piece from a different take, the video is choppy. The audio is fine. Not sure how to go about fixing this. Each take is fine. No issues. It's when trying to bring pieces together from the different takes that the integrity of the video is compromised. Any advice or insight would be most appreciated. Thank you!
Perhaps it's related to the source or system specs.
Please include the Mac model (be very specific) and how the sources were created.
Some H.264 MOV sources might be harder to playback than others (and the new H.265 may not yet be fully compatible) and this would be further impacted by the computer CPU. Once I know the details I can be a bit more specific.
Please do watch our extensive ScreenFlow tutorials. I'm sure that help as well.Reply
