Screenflow not recording anything.
Hello, when I try and record it says it is recording but when I stop and it brings up the editing window there are no tracks.
Screenflow 5.0.5 (26488)
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014)
macOS Sierra 10.12.1
Restarting, reinstalling, etc, doesn't seem to work.
You must update to ScreenFlow 5.0.7 for Sierra compatibility. This is assuming you bought it through our website.
Update on left side of page.
If you bought it from the Mac App Store, Apple doesn't allow updates after the next version (6.x) is released. Post back if that's your situation.
Carlos Oviedo I'm sorry but I don't understand your comment. The issue is ScreenFlow 5 compatibility with macOS Sierra (10.12.x) . I don't think you posted the version number correctly but if you're on ScreenFlow 6.x and macOS Sierra you don't have the same issue. If you're not on ScreenFlow 5 please start another topic.
Carlos Oviedo I'd like to help but the issue for the Original Poster was about version compatibility between version 5 and Sierra. The solution is to update to ScreenFlow 5.0.7.
I can't determine either your ScreenFlow version or your Operating System from your post. I must have that info since, apparently the solution that worked for the original poster has not worked for you.
If you have a different version of ScreenFlow you have a different issue even if the symptom is the same. That would mean I need more information. I'd like to help but you haven't provided enough information.
Otherwise please post the version of ScreenFlow you are using.
