Transfer Time Code to QC Report?

Hello! With other (one in particular, more hardware based) QC and transport control tools, it is possible to hit a function key on the controller and have the timecode at that time stamp copy/pasted into an Excel document/QC report. This saves a lot of time in the process. Any chance a feature like this could be implemented in a future version of switch?
