We can’t connect to YouTube account
For many days we went to live streaming to Facebook and YouTube. The accounts are correctly authenticated, suddenly I can not connect to our YouTube account even when the streaming Icon In WC shows a green Permanent color, but in the live videos @ YouTube studio nothing went live. How Can I fix this?
We have a Wirecast 13.
now we face another Issue, The audio seems to crack at certain points On the live recordings and at other times it doesn’t. It is urgent that we fix this, thanks

I'd need to know how you are setting up your stream to YouTube.
Can you do that (to YouTube only, not Facebook) and screen record it so I can follow your steps?
Since it was previously working and has since stopped it might be related to changes YouTube might be making or an issue you're running into because something has changed in how you are setting up the stream to YouTube. -
Attached is a video that shows good streaming signal but the video never appears in the live videos on YouTube.
WC streams to Facebook and YouTube at the same time, but when the problem began, we went to Facebook or to YouTube only but it’s doesn’t work separately , YouTube don’t go live. Finally I opened YouTube/go live/stream now classic, and the stream key revealed was the same as the one that appear in WC. But if I don’t open this page on YouTube it never going live. At the beginning it wasn’t necessary, I just needed to refresh and the link was automatically correctly.

Any Arias Please check that you are on Wirecast 13.1.3.
From your video I see you have No Event listed and that can be a problem for some accounts. I need to see what's happening in YouTube Studio because, given your settings, you may have to go there and send the stream live. YouTube has made changes and may not support Live Now (must set up an Event) which will be reflected in a Wirecast update. -

Any Arias See Stream Health. You should see Preview status as well. YouTube's studio allows you to review the stream.

The issue has been successfully solved! In our audio layer we had "Audiobox ASIO Driver". For some reason that setting was not working properly. We changed audio capture to "Line (audiobox 96)": this setting does not give us audio problems. Now audio is back to normal! Thank you for all your help.

CraigS Any Arias having the exact same issue with authenticating Youtube... was the fix found? Running the latest version of Wirecast that came out last week. I had to reset Wirecast preferences which is my go to when I’m dealing with bugs and when I went to configure my YouTube encoder, I ran into several issues... I can’t figure out if I’m just missing something but it will not allow me to set up a “live now” event, it only lets me schedule an event. And even weirder when I do schedule an event, it resets the date back to a date in the past when I click save. And then I’m having the same issue as Arias in that I can no longer stream to YouTube without YouTube creator being open even though the stream key matches up perfectly. It says Wirecast is streaming properly but it is nowhere to be found on YouTube unless Creator is open. Thanks so much for any help guys!

Hey CraigS Thanks for the tips but still having some issues... Running Wirecast 14.4 and started with a completely fresh document. I'll attach a screen recording of what is happening... every time I go to edit the Youtube event (just titling it), the event date always defaults to December of 1979. Wirecast makes me change it to a future date of course and as you will see in the video, it gives me this exact pop-up error every time so I can't ever edit or create an event. Thanks for the help!

DC Bowlin That's a Stream Now event. It should show that in parenthesis (Stream Now) in your Event pull down. The date can't be edited as it just goes live immediately.
Otherwise you can create a new event with a scheduled start time. Keep in mind the Auto Start function and decide whether you want that enabled or not.

CraigS Okay let me ask this then, does that mean that there is no longer a way to give a "stream now event" a title anymore? from my understanding, the only way to give the youtube stream a title was by entering that event edit window and entering the title.

DC Bowlin Stream Now Events currently can not be edited in Wirecast, only YouTube Studio. We are looking into if that can be changed given their API.
Note that the date of Stream Now can't be edited in the Studio as, unlike scheduled events, it's not exposed. -
CraigS Great News, I don’t know what changed, but I went in to set my encoders tonight (10/24) and it let me schedule an event correctly with a title in the way that still let’s me go live off of the schedule. I’m assuming it must have been a YouTube bug. Glad that it’s fixed!
