No Video in Wirecast from Blackmagic Web Presenter

We are using a Blackmagic Web Presenter (3.0 firmware) into an iMac (3.2 GHz, Intel i7) running macOS 12.3 Monterey. When I open Wirecast (14.3.4) I only get a black screen. I can see the video on the Blackmagic Web Presenter device and when I test the video in Quicktime, I get the Blackmagic video there. Just a black screen in Wirecast. I don't get any alerts that the Blackmagic isn't available. Any guesses as to what needs to change to get the video in Wirecast? Thanks in advance.

What do you see in Wirecast shot System Device Properties?
You try changing Video Format: Resolution: Frame Rate: and see if it's a settings issue.

I am having the exact issue with the Blackmagic Design Web Presenter (firmware 2 & 3) and Wirecast version 14 & 15 on MacOS Monterey on three different MacBook Pro computers. Matter of fact I have tried three different Web Presenters and get the same black screen each time un Wirecast.  Prior to upgrading to Monterey everything was working.  I can capture the Web Presenter image in Zoom, Microsoft Teams and OBS under Monterey but not in Wirecast.  I have tried changing the resolution and frame rate under Wirecast for the Web Presenter but only get a black screen. HELP.

Hart Boyd Thanks for reporting this. It seems a few users are seeing this.

What versions of Monterey (any on 12.3.1)?
      Intel or Apple Silicon CPUs?

Hart Boyd Thanks for those details. Before updating the macOS were you on a previous version of Monterey (which version if that's the case) or Big Sur?

I'm running Web Presenter (Older version 1.2), was working just fine with Big Sur.  I upgraded to Monterey and now it only gives me 2 options: 640x480 (Just gives me a still picture) and 320x240 (Horrible obviously) and that's all.  It's not working

BM Web Presenter HD (Version 1.2)

    Mac (24-inch, M1, 2021)

    Chip Apple M1

    Memory 16GB

There is no firmware updates available for the HD version.  I already spoke to Blackmagic.  V1.2 is the only one.  However, it works fine in OBS or even the Snap Chat Lens program.  I cleared the Cache on Wirecast, I've un-installed the program and re-installed.  Nothing changed.  Last resort is to wipe the computer and go back to Big Sur.

Aaron Elekes Try changing your Video Format to 4.2.0 and I see 1280x720 as an additional option but not under Video Format 4.2.2

      Aaron Elekes 👍
Yes type of format can impact frame size and frame rate for any USB device whether webcam Web Presenter or HDMI to USB capture device.

Hence why I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago to the original poster.
Unfortunately, he didn't respond. Perhaps his answer could have helped.

Did you try and that and did it fix the issue?
Do you have a screenshot of the correct option?
