IMSC 1.1 JPN Subtitles Support

Perhaps you can try with a trial of Switch Plus or Pro while I check.


 

We do support IMSC TTML. We may have only tested IMSC 1.0.

We support multibyte characters in a variety of secondary subtitle files, so I would expect Japanese to be supported.

Vertical captions are supported in some of our subtitle caption renderers, but not sure about TTML.

Do download the trial and test. If there's an issue I can put in a request for it to be fixed or supported.
