Screenflow 10 wont record from camera

Downloaded the new screenflow the other day and first time using it won't record from any camera (webcam nor capture card camera)

I have all permissions correct (even screenflow helper). Double checked in

Screenflow recognizes the camera, image is there in the preview. But nothing gets recorded and the recording from the camera doesn't show up in the editor.

M1 mac mini, latest Big Sur

Tested it on Screenflow 9 and that still works. This is frustrating because the 9-version couldn't render colors correctly when exporting and now the camera doesn't work in v-10....

Just want to add a +1 to this thread.

    My setup:

    • MacBook Pro M1 14"
    • Monterey 12.1
    • ScreenFlow 10.0.3

I'm trying to record from my iPhone (13) via EpocCam (all latest versions). The phone is tethered with a USB-C/Lightning cable directly to the Mac, and shows up in the preview and in the recording monitor. But when the recording is completed, no video appears.

All permissions are confirmed, and I've rebooted.

    Update: ScreenFlow 9 doesn't work either. 😐

CraigS Happy to report that Camo from Reincubate works a charm and looks like a really slick bit of software. Thanks!

I just followed this thread, as I am having issues as well.

    • MacBook Pro M1 Max - 14''
    • Monterey 12.1
    • Screenflow 10.03

    I've tried:

    • revoking permissions, restarting
    • enabling permissions, restarting
    • connecting all cameras directly to computer
    • connecting all cameras via a hub

Looking forward to hearing about a solution whenever one is found; thanks for sharing all your thinking, folks!

Cary Joice I've been using Camo Studio for a couple of weeks now and it's flawless. Give it a go.

John Noble Agreed personally about Reincubate Camo Studio. It's been reliable in our tests so far.

John Noble Yep, I used it to record lessons for my students today. I'm quarantined at home with what I'm calling now "COVID-lite", so I needed to make some tutorial essay writing videos for my students.  Because, of course, I tested positive at the most critical moment of our unit. Ugh.

Screenflow tih Camo Studio FTW here, for sure. Thanks for the help, everyone!
