2 Cameras, both the same 2 different resolutions

I am using Logitech c920s both 1080i, but one shows up lovely in your software, but the other looks like its half of the resolution. Why is that?

I am on a Macbook Pro, 10 15 3

  • c920 would be 1080p as webcams are never interlaced.
USB bandwidth can impact resolution. You must make sure the webcams are on separate buses. Separate ports may actually be on the same bus. The Macbook Pro may only have one USB bus.  Wirecast > Window > USB Devices will show what bus(es) the webcams are on.

  • CraigS  is there anyway to change that? 2 cams on bus 4, facetime on 1

  • noyb smoov A bus may have limited bandwidth. You'd have to see if the computer has another bus by moving the camera to another port. It might be possible to add another USB bus by using a USB to Thunderbolt dock but can't say for sure that'll work.
