iPad Video Changes Orientation

I have a strange issue where I export a video from my iPad and try to use it in ScreenFlow it changes the orientation from portrait to landscape.
Another thing is in the media library I don't have an option to import directly from the Photos app. I can only see Music apps.
I'm running ScreenFlow 10.0.5 on MacOS 12.4 on an M1 Macbook Pro.
Thanks

Once you've confirmed or enabled that, open and close Photos. Reboot the computer. Confirm the above two permissions are still enabled. Then open ScreenFlow by creating a new blank document and check to see if you have access to Photos.

It was recording in portrait mode using native iOS screen recording function in portrait mode?
It appears in portrait mode in ScreenFlow Media Library but is Landscape when added to Timelilne?
This was imported from finder or some other method (this might impact how the orientation flag is handled)?
What version iOS?

'm not able to provide the diagnostics on the Mac App Store version apparently?Yes that's a difference between Mac App Store version in compliance with Apple sandboxing.
I'll see if there's a Terminal script that will do that.
One issue that can occur is that ScreenFlow should ask for permission to access your Photos library the first time you attempt it and if you don't give permission there's no way to change that status in either the OS or in ScreenFlow. That would have to be done through a Terminal command. -

I could try deleting the app and redownloading off the App Store I guess?Worth a try. Perhaps seeing it as a new install will give you access to Photos again.

Hope they can sort the issues with third-party audio plugins at some point as that's now the only thing keeping me on version 9.We're working on it of course.
