Is there a way to export video with no audio?

I can choose sample rate but can't find an option to just not save audio entirely? Is there a way to just export the video only?

Use any custom setting and disable the audio.
    Manual not Automatic.

    • CraigS As you can see in my original post when trying to customize my ProRes preset, there is no option to turn off audio.  Is this a ScreenFlow limitation with ProRes?

    Yes, it is.
Can you explain what application would require ProRes video only? Why would you need this?

    • CraigS It's not an app issue. It's a pipeline issue. Screenflow is just one source for bigger editorial projects that have homogenized pipelines. Nevertheless, I have quite a few apps that can write ProRes, all of which give the option of omitting audio. Should be trivial to implement, should developers choose to add such a feature.

Thanks for letting me know this is a ScreenFlow limitation.

Matthew Merkovich In order to prioritize the developers will want to know your specific use case. Other apps as FCP can do video only ProRes but the developers would want to know how common and how critical the need is.

    • CraigS We've talked about this before: for some, Screenflow is just another source for video in other applications like FCP, DaVinci Resolve, Avid, etc. If exporting video becomes easier and better, even more people would adopt Screenflow. So maybe tell the developers this isn't a current Screenflow user need, but instead a greater need across the world of editing of which Screenflow could play a bigger part. I know I'm not the only one who doesn't care at all about the editorial capabilities of Screenflow. For me, it's just a powerful screen capture tool.
