Reconnect having issues

I am working on our Wirecast system and trying to figure out how the reconnect feature works.

I have the latest version installed on Windows, using a RTMP stream to Vimeo as my test, just streaming out a 1080 video on a loop

 As a test I am using a Cradlepointrouter with a WAN failover in case we lose internet during a stream out from Wirecast.
 So far that test is failing with Wirecast. My stream never re-gains full stable connection even though I only lose 1 packet when my router performs an immediate fail-over to the backup wan.

The stream icon will go from green to yellow then red, and keeps that cycle going.

I have changed the reconnect attempts from 5 to 50 and nothing seems to help, even stopping the stream after it has went red, results in wirecast locking up for 30 seconds to a minute before I can click anything

The stream will connect and disconnect constantly, the only way for it to fully heal the stream is to shutdown the stream completely from Wirecast and start it again. However, it still loops the stream icon colors from green to yellow to red.

    It's possible the issue is on Vimeo's side (server). 
    Can you test to another CDN as a doublecheck?

    Hold down Shift then Wirecast > Preferences > Debug > Multimedia Logging and turn On.
    Create the issue again so a log is created.
     

     

    Once you've created the issue again go to Help > Send Support Information > Create Support Ticket  (fill out information) > Send Report
    and that will send us the logs.

    Post your case number here when you get it and I'll track the issue.

    Just a thought but could it be the timing/retries in the failover settings?
    We don't list anything about our reconnect timing and I'm thinking the interval might be a factor.
