Ripple delete features (similar to Da Vinci Pro and other video editors)

It would be good to see much better ripple delete features - such as found in DaVinci Resolve for example.   Where its a very simple and efficient process to do this - for more than one track or all tracks.

  • Sounds like a good request. For those not familiar with Resolve please do describe what it adds. Do fill out the ScreenFlow Feature Request form to get a case number so we can contact if we have further questions. Anyone who would like to see improvements in our Ripple Delete function please do vote for this.

Its just a lot quicker and more comprehensive than anything currently available in SF.

by the way. Da Vinci resolve is currently  free to download and use. and its a full version.  I'd recommend downloading it and trying it out for yourself.

Maybe other editors like premiere FC etc do same thing seven better but Ii'm only familiar with DV Resolve. In fat if it weren't for the fact that I had audio issues with DV resolve I'd be using DV R all thew time.

Screenflow is also just simpler to use for basic functions but  adding the ripple delete features would be awesome - specially the more SF becomes more of a video editor tool than just something to record screen stuff.
