Error when saving .screenflow

I get this error when trying to save an existing screenflow project to another name.

The sequence:

Open existing .screenflow project.

Save as new file name.

Starts a progress bar and then fails with this message.

I have set my scratch destination nowhere near this path /User/.....

It is on a Thunderbolt 2 TB LaCie drive.

It looks like it cannot find an audio file that I am using from the stock library.

This doesn't happen with saving the project with the same name as when I opened it. Only seems to happen when I save as a new name.

Hindering progress and good workflow.

Please solve.

  • The workaround is to dupe the file in finder and rename it. Then I can open it as a new file.  Shouldn't have to do that.

  • Steven Levine Seems ScreenFlow had a problem with the temp file.
The issue if this is a saved ScreenFlow file that file should be inside the ScreenFlow document itself.  It's possible something about it being on a Thunderbolt drive was a factor in it not being copped to the ScreenFlow document.

Please describe complete workflow steps and all versions involved so we can look at potential issues.
