Connecting two canon Legria cameras via intensity shuttle thunderbold interface
We have two intensity shuttle capture cards and connect two cameras via the two thunderbold ports of my mac , each camera connected to an intensity shuttle board and each bord to each of the two thunderbolds port in my mac. It will only recognise one camera, not both at the same time. We cannot bbroadcast with the two cameras. What is the solution
I'd like to help but I'd need a lot more technical information. Please read READ BEFORE POSTING at the top of this product forum. Without complete information it takes extra time for the back and forth before I can give an answer.
Your Mac model can be a factor. The number of other Thunderbolt ports can be a factor.
You'd also need to check in Blackmagic Media Express to make sure the devices are sending video to the computer.
You'd also want to update to Blackmagic driver 10.11.4
Make sure you're on macOS 10.13.6 or higher and Wirecast is 11.1.1.Reply
Hi, thank you very much for your answer.
The Mac model is: Mac Book Pro Retina from 2015 2,5 Ghz Intel Core i7 with 16 GB RAM and Intel Iris Pro Graphics 1536 MB O.S. Mojave 10.14.2 and Wirecast 11.1.1 the mac has two thunderbolt connection ports, we connect the intensity shuttle to each of the ports, so we have two intensity shuttle capture cards with driver 10.11.4 each of them connected via HDMI to the cameras Canon Legria and then we connect the two intensity shuttle capture cards to the thunderbolts port in the mac (it has two thunderbolt ports.
If we connect each camera separately it recognizes them. When we connect both only one is capable of sending the signal, both are recognized, but only one sends the image, the other sends a black window.Reply
